Tiny Heroes Winter Wonderland

One week ago, Yellow Ribbons United partnered with our friends at TAPS, to put together a memorable night in celebration of our nation's military kids. As many of you know, these Tiny Heroes don't have it easy. A typically year for a military child often means changing schools, going months with out seeing a parent and dealing with constant worry for that parents safety. They maybe small, but these kids are serving our country, too, and that's why events like these are so important to us.

Imagine you are ten years old. Imagine you are Ashlynne Haycock, the daughter of Sergeant First Class Jeffrey Haycock. Imagine you are ten-year-old Ashlynne Haycock, and you are told that your dad won’t be coming home. The family was, undeniably, devastated, but young Ashlynne knew then — as her father did — that her brightest years lay ahead.
